Dove House Welcomes Kasady Anderson, Dubois County Resident Advocate

We are thrilled to welcome Kasady Anderson to the Dubois County Dove House team, where she serves as a resident advocate. A recent graduate of Forest Park Jr. Sr. High School, Kasady is embarking on a new journey both in her role at Dove House and as a student at Indiana University Southeast, where she’s majoring in sociology and criminal justice. Her path to Dove House was driven by a desire to make a difference in the lives of women in recovery.

“The thing that interested me the most about working for Dove House is working with these amazing women and celebrating alongside them as they do things they never thought they could do before recovery,” she shared.

As a resident advocate, Kassady takes on all kinds of responsibilities from overseeing the front desk to accompanying residents on outings like a recent trip to a flower patch. Her goal is to be a supportive presence for the women at Dove House.

“I hope that I am making an impact on the Dove House clients by letting them know they are not alone in this process, and I am here to listen to them and support them in any way they need,” she says.

For Kasady, Dove House is more than just a workplace—it’s a place where transformation happens, sharing, “Dove House is special to me because I get to see firsthand these women grow and see how much they care about their recovery.”

Watching the residents progress and achieve things they once thought impossible is a source of great pride and motivation for her.

Outside of her work, Kasady enjoys traveling with her family, spending time outdoors, and playing with her dogs. Having already visited 26 states, she has a spirit of adventure that fuels her personal and professional life.

Kasady brings a fresh perspective and a compassionate heart to Dove House, and we’re excited to see the positive impact she will continue to make on our residents and our community. Welcome to the team, Kasady!
