We are thrilled to welcome Jennifer Cronin, MSW, to the Dove House team, where she serves as an Admissions Specialist. A recent graduate of Wayne State University, Jennifer is embarking on a new journey both in her role at Dove House and in Indianapolis. She is a Midwesterner from Michigan who has spent the last five years in California.
Jennifer shared her goals for her work at Dove House, sharing, “My goal is to bring my background in clinical social work and care coordination to provide potential residents and referral sources with compassionate and competent assistance as they navigate the admissions process here at Dove House.”
As an Admissions Specialist, Jennifer will help applicants navigate the application and interview process to verify whether they are a good fit for Dove House. She will also collaborate with various community organizations, building relationships that result in more women being served through partnerships and cross-referrals.
“I hope that I am making an impact on Dove House clients by letting them know they are not alone in this process, and that I am here to listen and support them in any way they need,” she says.
For Jennifer, Dove House is more than just a workplace. It’s a place where transformation happens. She shares, “Dove House is special to me because I get to see firsthand how these women grow and how much they care about their recovery.”
Watching residents progress and achieve things they once thought impossible is a source of great pride and motivation for her.
When she’s not making an impact on the community, Jennifer enjoys spending time outdoors. She loves swimming, hiking, camping, kayaking, and biking, and has recently gotten back into reading.
