Meet Diamond Acoff. She is our new finance and billing assistant. Diamond works at our Marion County location and has a bachelor of science degree in health information management. In her role, she assists with accounts receivable, accounts payable, commercial billing, funding and grants.
Diamond was attracted to Dove House because of the focus on equality, diversity, equity, acceptance and belonging that is evident towards both the Doves and our staff.
“Dove House is a safe space for me […] With my own experiences with substance abuse and domestic violence, I really loved the fact that there is a facility strictly focused on helping women recover, have another chance at life and to help them become their best selves. Dove House is also a healing environment for me,” Diamond shared.
When she thinks about the impact she wants to make at Dove House, she hopes she can motivate and inspire other women by reassuring them that their trauma doesn’t have to define them. She strongly believes each woman at Dove House is worthy of recovery!
In her free time, Diamond enjoys shopping, spending time with friends and family, photography and traveling. Her favorite quote that she shared with us is, “I love the person I’ve become, because I fought to become her” – Kaci Diane
